March 3, 2021

Text header for USDA

Good morning,

There is still time to register for the Secretary’s Town Hall, scheduled for Thursday, March 4.  The registration link will not work in Internet Explorer. We recommend you use another browser such as Chrome.  You may submit your questions to Secretary Vilsack on the registration page or as a reply to the email from OneUSDA.

Sincerely,

OneUSDA

What: Secretary Vilsack became the nation’s 32nd Secretary of Agriculture last Wednesday. One of his top priorities is restoring the confidence and morale of the USDA workforce. As he said in a recent interview, “I want our staff to love to come to work every day, doing the important work that will help to move our country forward.”

This Town Hall is an opportunity for Secretary Vilsack and other USDA leaders to listen, learn, and help build strong, positive relationships with the USDA community.

The event will be livestreamed via ZoomGov and will have a capacity of 30,000 viewers. We will continue to work on ways to engage as many staff as possible and we welcome your ideas. Anyone not able to join live will have access to an on demand recorded copy. Thursday’s conversation begins a series of dialogues hosted by Secretary Vilsack with Agency and Mission Area team members in the coming weeks.

When: Thursday, March 4, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. ET.

Where: The Zoom livestream link will be emailed to all registrants from ZoomGov. Please register using your USDA email address.

RSVP: Register here.

The Secretary will take questions from the USDA workforce. To submit a question in advance for consideration, please email OneUSDA@usda.gov by 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 3.
