It is comprised of interagency personnel from a variety of backgrounds who share a desire to reduce the collective interagency carbon footprint and promote environmentally responsible operations. The team is working to achieve net zero environmental impacts at large fire and all-risk incidents by 2030 and has made enormous strides in support of the agency’s mission of sustaining the nation’s forests and grasslands as well as President Biden’s Federal Sustainability Plan.
