Tony Scardina accepted the position of chief of staff for the Forest Service in Washington, DC, effective April 24. Scardina currently serves as deputy regional forester for the Pacific Southwest Region. Scardina permanently replaces Angela Coleman, who was named Associate Chief in 2021. Mary Snieckus has served as acting chief of staff since November 2021.
