Elizabeth “Liz” Berger has been selected to serve as acting regional forester for the Pacific Northwest Region (R6) starting in early April, following the retirement of Glenn Casamassa. Berger is currently a deputy regional forester for the Pacific Southwest Region (R5) in Vallejo, California.

Emily Betz Close has accepted the position of disaster program specialist for the Office of International Programs' Disaster Assistance Support Program in Washington, DC. Close currently serves as disaster assistance support program specialist for International Programs.

Erika Davis has accepted the position of management information systems officer for the Eastern Region (R9). Davis currently serves as supervisory business analyst for the Chief Information Office in Tallahassee, Florida.

Michael Goldstein accepted the position of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act/Bipartisan Infrastructure Law project manager for the Rocky Mountain Research Station in Fort Collins, Colorado. Goldstein currently serves as a regional land management planner, Inventory & Monitoring Coordinator in the Alaska Region (R10).

Laura Hill has accepted the position of Chief Information Officer under Business Operations in Washington, DC. Hill has served as acting in that position since 2021.

Lauren Hilsabeck has accepted the position of application services branch chief of Mission Support Systems for the Chief Information Officer. Hilsabeck currently serves as branch chief for the Application Services Branch within the Chief Information Office.

David Hoose has accepted the position of branch chief of Pay, Leave, and Awards for Human Resource Management in Albuquerque, New Mexico (R3). Hoose currently serves as the branch chief over the National Temporary Employment team.

Kimberly Koch-Hult has accepted the position of alternative dispute resolution branch chief for the Office of Civil Rights. Koch-Hult currently serves as conflict management and prevention specialist in the Work Environment and Performance Office.

Talal Mir has accepted the position of disaster program specialist for the Office of International Programs' Disaster Assistance Support Program in Washington, DC. Mir currently serves as a disaster program specialist for International Programs.

Lou Elin Najmi has accepted the position of disaster program specialist for the Office of International Programs' Disaster Assistance Support Program in Washington, DC. Najmi currently serves as a disaster operations specialist for International Programs.

Kelvin Roberts has accepted the position of director of the Office of Civil Rights for the Southern Region (R8) and the Eastern Region (R9). Roberts currently serves as deputy director of the Office of Civil Rights for the Southern and Eastern regions.

Jocelyn Sarmiento has accepted the position of disaster program specialist for the Office of International Programs' Disaster Assistance Support Program in Washington, DC. Sarmiento currently serves as a humanitarian assistance officer for the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance within International Programs.

Jeffrey Turner accepted the position of deputy Forest Inventory and Analysis program manager of Forest Inventory and Analysis, Research and Development, for the Southern Research Station in Knoxville, Tennessee. Turner currently serves as supervisory biological scientist for Forest Inventory and Analysis for the Southern Research Station.

Keith Woeste accepted the position of national program leader of genetics research for Research and Development in Washington, DC. Woeste currently serves as a project leader within the Northern Research Station in West Lafayette, Indiana.
