Chris Carlson accepted the position of acting director for Landscape Restoration & Ecosystem Services Research in Research & Development for the  Washington Office. Carlson currently serves as the national program leader for Watershed and Aquatic Ecology Research. He replaces Kenli Kim, who is returning to her permanent position as national program leader for Social Science.

Anzanette Randall accepted the position of acting director for Civil Rights in the Washington Office. She is currently Deputy Chief Executive for the Work Environment and Performance Office. Randall will temporarily replace Michael Watts, who recently retired.
