Gordon “Gordie” Blum will serve as acting director of Recreation, Heritage and Volunteer Services in the Washington Office, effective Oct. 12. He currently serves as deputy regional forester for the Eastern Region. He replaces Dave Whittekiend, who returns to his role as forest supervisor on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
