Katherine “Katie” Armstrong accepted the position of director of Wilderness and Wild & Scenic Rivers for the National Forest System in Washington, D.C. Armstrong currently serves as deputy chief of staff in the Office of the Chief.

Kathleen Cahill accepted the position of assistant director for Budget Execution for the Office of Strategic Planning, Budget and Accountability in Golden, Colorado. Cahill currently serves as a budget analyst within Job Corps.

Merlene Mazyck accepted the position of program specialist for the National Forest System deputy area in Washington, D.C. Mazyck currently serves as program manager for the Office of Recreation, Heritage and Volunteer Resources staff in Washington, D.C.

Jacob Nuttall accepted the position of regional director of Fire and Aviation Management for the Southwestern Region in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nuttall currently serves as the deputy regional fire director for the Southwestern Region.

Heather Provencio accepted the position of special assistant to the regional forester for the Southwestern Region. Provencio currently serves as forest supervisor for the Kaibab National Forest in the Southwestern Region.

Matthews Smith accepted the position of chief of staff for State and Private Forestry in Washington, D.C. Smith currently serves as senior staff assistant for the Business Operations deputy area in Washington, D.C.
