WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Forest Service is accepting reforestation proposals until July 20, 2024. Proposals can be submitted using the digital app.

Any National Forest System unit can apply to the National Reforestation Partnership Program to receive funds for projects related to tree planting, seed orchards and nurseries.

These funds come from national collection agreements maintained between the Washington Office Forest Management and four nonprofit reforestation partners—National Forest Foundation, Arbor Day Foundation, American Forests, and One Tree Planted.

National Reforestation Partnership Program has linked national partners with forests to plant trees throughout the nation since 1989. This partnership helps supports the implementation of the 2022 National Reforestation Strategy. For more information, please visit the SharePoint site or submit proposal questions.
