Webinar series: Fire science you can use
The Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station is pleased to announce the second webinar series in its 2026 lineup: Fire Science You Can Use. This series includes five webinar events that will explore science and decision support tools for safe wildfire operations, fuels management and pre-fire planning, and navigating trade-offs and projected fire impacts in land management planning. Scientists will also share new insights into fire and wildlife ecology as well as how communities respond and adapt to wildfire on their landscapes.
Webinar presentations will be geared toward land managers, but members of the public are welcome to attend and learn about the latest science out of Forest Service Research and Development. Expect two presentations followed by Q&A.
View the webinar agenda on the Rocky Mountain Research Station website for registration links and additional details. All webinars are on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MT. You will need to register for each webinar separately. Webinars will be recorded and posted on our website.
We are currently seeking to make webinars eligible for continuing education credits through the Society of American Foresters and the Society for Range Management.
Stay tuned for additional webinars coming soon.
