Proposed Nursery Bottom Management Plan

The Cheat-Potomac Ranger District is developing a management plan for the Parsons Administrative site, known locally as Nursery Bottom, in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service State and Private Forestry Program and the Northern Research Station. We are seeking input on a management plan that will help guide us in the best use of the site for agency needs while we also continue to provide high quality visitor services.


Climbing Management Plan Meetings

In response to this increased demand, the Forest Service is developing a rock Climbing Management Plan (CMP) to address issues and concerns related to climbing, and to develop a shared vision for the future of climbing within the NRA.
