Every Kid Outdoors Pass

Every Kid Outdoors Passes are now available at Sawtooth National Forest offices. This pass entitles forth graders or homeschoolers 10 years of age and their families to free use of any site that requires an entrance or standard amenity fee. The pass does not apply to any sites or activities that require an expanded amenity fee, such as a campground or an interpretive program.

Wilderness Permits

A permit is required for visitors to the Sawtooth Wilderness. There is no permit required for visitors to the Hemingway-Boulders or White Clouds Wildernesses.

Interagency Senior Pass

Interagency Senior Pass gives a 50% discount on some expanded amenity fees like campgrounds (does not include hookups for water/sewer/electricity), highly developed boat launches and swimming sites and for specialized interpretive services. This is a $10 lifetime pass and is available to persons 62 years of age and older.

Interagency Access Pass

The Interagency Access Pass gives a 50% discount on some expanded amenity fees like campgrounds (does not include hookups for water/sewer/electricity), highly developed boat launches and swimming sites and for specialized interpretive services. This is a free lifetime permit that is issued to US citizens with a permanent disability. You must apply for these passports in person and bring proof of blindness or permanent disability.
