Programmatic Agreement for Section 106 Compliance of the NHPA
The Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests is developing a Programmatic Agreement to set forth the processes by which the Forest Service will meet its responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for undertakings occurring on national forest lands in South Carolina.

Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests Monitoring Reports
Monitoring reports are prepared annually for each forest. The reports set the stage to continue management under current standards and guidelines or makes recommended changes.

Managing Recreation Uses in the Upper Chattooga River Corridor
The national forests in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia are implementing the 2012 decisions regarding managing recreation uses in the upper segment of the Chattooga Wild and Scenic River Corridor.
