Free, Downloadable Maps

  • Forest Service Topography Maps: These maps overlay Forest Service roads, trails, and campgrounds on USGS topographic maps. They are available for download by quadrangle, and are geo-referenced PDFs. This means they have latitude and longitude information embedded in them, and can be used with an app like PDF Maps from Avenza to use your mobile device's built-in GPS to show your location on the map.

  • FY 2019 Precribed Burn Map: The U.S. Forest Service is gearing up for the 2019 prescribed fire season on the Apalachicola National Forest to help prevent wildfires and promote a healthy forest. If you have questions regarding the prescribed fire burning season, contact the Apalachicola National Forest Wakulla Ranger District Office at (850) 926-3561.
  • 2019 Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM): Motor Vehicle Use Maps indicate which roads in the Apalachicola National Forest are open to motor vehicle use, and which roads have been decommissioned or changed to other uses (PDF).

  • Apalachicola National Forest Recreation Guide (PDF)
