Due to a lapse in federal funding, this USDA website will not be actively updated. Once funding has been reestablished, online operations will continue. On-going operational updates will be posted here (https://www.fs.fed.us/shutdown) as we are able to provide them.

Parents & Teachers

The Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland understands the importance of introducing children to our natural resources and outdoor recreation.

The Forest has a variety of resources from educational kits that can be used in the classroom (see list of districts below) to individuals (see contact list to the right) who can come to your school or event to discuss various aspects of the U.S. Forest Service, including fire prevention, outdoor recreation, and other natural resource topics.
