Smokey and Woodsy visiting a classroom.The Bitterroot National Forest is pleased to offer a variety of free educational programs and community service projects to the children of the Bitterroot Valley.  Additionally, our excellent staff is available to provide interesting field trips and/or in-class presentations to your students.  We have the ability to adapt our presentations to the age-level of your children as well as modify the lessons to meet your specific needs.

The forest also has a lending library of educational materials available for use by community members.  The materials that are available range from Traveling Educational Trunks and Curriculum / Reference books to Field Guides and CD and/or Video programs.
