Welcome to the Caribou-Targhee National Forest

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest has beautiful mountain scenery from the Teton Mountains on the east side and the Continnental Divide on the north rim.  We have the Curlew National Grasslands, the Jedediah Smith Wilderness, and the beautiful Palisades Reservior.  Everywhere you travel on this forest there are abundant recreational activities.  It occupies over 3 million acres and stretches across southeastern Idaho, from the Montana, Utah, and Wyoming borders.
