The Forest Service Grant program is a component of a well rounded Forest Service program.  The Cleveland National Forest works with many local, regional and national partners to facilitate and complete projects and programs.

Grants and Funding Opportunities

Faced with declining budgets and workforce reductions, organizations are challenged to be innovative to fund their projects. Partnerships can play an important role.

Partnerships provide expanded opportunities for obtaining grants:

• Funders often require or prefer projects involving partnerships.
• Funding is easier to leverage with the more partners involved. 

Good planning requires matching the appropriate funding source with project goals and objectives.
