Tours

Traditionally, the Forest Service has offered interpretative tours of the Grey Towers Mansion. In compliance with federal COVID-19 guidelines, we remain unable to offer interpretative tours and access inside of the mansion. We hope to resume tours as soon as agency and department guidance permits.

Parking & Handicap Access

The visitor lot has ample parking spaces for cars and buses. We kindly ask that buses use the designated bus parking areas.

The walkway from the parking lot to the mansion is approximately 350 yards uphill and mimics the original carriageway. Please enjoy the views, watch your step, and take your time as you walk towards the mansion.

For those with limited mobility, there are two handicap parking spots adjacent to the mansion for those with appropriate vehicle identification. If you do not have appropriate vehicle identification, you may drop members of your party off near the mansion and park in the lot behind the home. Signage will guide you up the driveway to the handicap spots and drop-off area.
