The Helena National Forest is located in the center part of Montana.
Where is this Forest?

Working Together

Taking care of the Helena National Forest requires the efforts of dedicated employees, partners and volunteers who contribute greatly to the successful management of forest resources. Without these efforts by our great partners some of our work would be difficult to complete.

Our partners include a number of federal agencies, tribes, State of Montana, communities, conservation organizations, user groups, environmental organizations, non-profit organizations, universities, local school districts, public entities, and private citizens.  Their assistance is provided through a number of avenues including various grants, partnerships, and volunteer efforts.

If you want to make a difference in the care of your public lands, click on one of the links in the left column on how we can work together to make that happen!
