Discover more about your national forest through our Conservation Education Program.
Learn about the resources available to teachers, families and students to help you explore your public lands and use the forest as an outdoor classroom.
The Forest Service Conservation Education Program helps people of all ages understand and appreciate our country's natural resources -- and learn how to conserve those resources for future generations. Through formal and non-formal educational activities and experiences, you can investigate how natural resources and ecosystems affect each other -- looking at the connections between people and the land and how resources can be used wisely. The Forest Service teams up with many different partners to provide quality programs and materials.
