Partnerships
The National Forests in North Carolina could not sustainably manage these lands without partnerships and involvement from the public. There is much more work to be done than the employees of the national forests can accomplish by themselves. Besides, we're all in this business of managing our natural and heritage resources together. We welcome the opportunity to be partners with anyone who wants to work with us to achieve shared goals.
If your non-profit group or organization works in partnership with the National Forests in North Carolina and has a website you would like to see included here, contact the person who serves as your liaison with the Forest Service.
Multiple and dynamic partnerships between the Forest Service and other entities come in the form of agreements, grants, contracts, and volunteer commitments for specific projects or tasks needed to keep our forests healthy and active.
