Volunteer with us and you will learn new skills, teach others, and stay active and involved!

Our Volunteers help present the diverse resources of the National Forests in Florida and help preserve these precious resources for future generations.

Volunteering with the National Forests in Florida can be a single-day commitment or it could be a more long-term relationship, such as spending a season as a live-in camp host.

The Student Conservation Association

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is a nationwide network of young conservationists who have the opportunity to explore green career opportunities with professional internships in the field.

The National Forests in Florida partners with the SCA on the Apalachicola and Oscela National Forests to place interns in the role of volunteer coordinator and community outreach intern at each forest serving in this capacity for approximately 12 months.
