Points of Pride
- The partnership we have between the employee union and management, and our highly-effective Superior Partnership Council.
- Our proactive and long-term response to the fuels hazard created by the July 4, 1999, windstorm that blew down a half-million acres on the Forest.
- Active relationships with State, local and tribal governments and a wide range of interest groups, as exemplified by our role in the Minnesota Forest Resources Council.
- The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness - a million-acre jewel that is unique in the National Forest System, and our well-recognized efforts to manage and protect it.
