Working Together

Coming together, sharing together, working together....... succeeding together.

To reach our mission of caring for the land and serving the people, we rely on our many partners, volunteers, contractors, tribes, and advisory committees to help us.  We all share a common goal to take care of our public lands as well as support our local communities. There are many ways we can work together to benefit public lands on the Umatilla National Forest.

In 2012, Wilderness Volunteers and Umatilla National Forest are hosting a volunteer vacation trail maintenance service project from July 8-14 in the North Fork John Day Wilderness in eastern Oregon. For information on volunteering and to register visit Wilderness Volunteers.  Wilderness Volunteers is a nonprofit organization that organizes volunteer service in partnership with our National Forests.
