Protecting Forest Health Through Spatial Information

Each year staff from the Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry St. Paul Field Office conduct aerial pest-detec-tion surveys on over 19 million acres of National Forest, National Park Service, Tribal, and other federal lands. Ad-ditionally, our state partners conduct aerial pest detection surveys on much of their state managed and privately held forest lands.
