The USDA Forest Service's Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) Remote Sensing Band is a geospatial working group that serves the FIA mission. We periodically meet to discuss overarching geospatial issues that affect FIA, and to collaborate on local, regional and national geospatial projects. The purpose of this webpage is to keep members aware of current happenings and to serve as a repository for notes and information pertinent to FIA's geospatial activities.
For a current list of members, questions, or comments, please contact the current (2005-2006) Band Leader Mark Nelson (mdnelson@fs.fed.us) or Deputy Band Leader Ken Winterberger (kwinterberger@fs.fed.us).
The April 2000 draft of the RSB Charter can be found here. For a link to the old RSB webpage, which includes pre 2005 information in unedited format, click here.
We are currently updating the below portion of the page (December 2005). Please check back soon!
