On May 4, 2015, Forest Supervisor Cecilia Seesholtz signed the Decision Memo for the Williams Creek Project. This project would use a combination of commercial and non-commercial thinning and fuel reduction activities to improve forest resiliency from insect and disease disturbance, while promoting large, early-seral tree species and wildlife habitat.

Location Summary

The Williams Creek Project area covers approximately 3,158 acres in the Williams Creek-North Fork Payette River sub-watersheds, west of Highway 55, between Banks and Smiths Ferry, Idaho.

District: Emmett Ranger District
