Little Weiser Forest Resilience Project
The 14,370-acre Project area has experienced high insect activity and is at risk of subsequent tree mortality. Up to 3,000 acres of treatments will move vegetation toward desired conditions by increasing forest resiliency and promoting large trees.
Location Summary
The Project area is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Council Idaho in Adams County on the Council Ranger District of the Payette National Forest. It is in the Little Weiser River watershed.
