Vegetation treatment to restore the area (about 34,000 a) to more natural conditions. Treatments could include prescribed fire, tree thinning, small commercial wood sales, fuelwood gathering, mowing, targeted grazing, and designation of an OHV trail. Formal scoping had concluded and the Forest Service is in the process of considering input, analyzing impacts, and writing an Environmental Assessment. A future comment period will be announced when the EA is released.

HD Mountains south of Highway 160, east of Bayfield, CO.
