Proposed fuels reduction activities on National Forest System (NFS) lands within a 3,605-acre area near Vail, Colorado. Treatments correspond to areas identified within the Town of Vail Community Wildfire Protection Plan.

Location Summary

North of Town of Vail, East of Red Sandstone Rd and West of Black Gore Creek Bridge on Interstate 70. The project extends roughly 1.5 miles north of the forest boundary.
