Carlin Mineral Exploration Project

District Ranger Kidd signed the decision for this project on June 23, 2017 authorizing the proposal. The proposal is to drill/blast a quartz vein and remove approximately 30-40 tons of mineral material to determine if enough gold is present to further develop the project. This is a locatable minerals project regulated under 36 CFR 228A.

Location Summary

The project area is located near the Burns Ridge area within the Grimes Pass Idaho Roadless Area. Roughly 12 Miles Northeast of Pioneerville along Forest Road 380 to the 380D fork.
