Hi-Grouse Project

The Record of Deicision for the Hi-Grouse Project was signed on November 23, 2010. The final impact statement for this project analyzed the impacts of two action alternatives and one no action alternative. The project was designed to improve and maintain sustainable habitat for species associated with late-successional forests, promote restoration of historic forest composition and structure, and promote restoration of fuels-related historic fire regime. The legal notice and federal register notice was published on January 7, 2010, beginning the 45-day appeal period.
