Amended Forest Plan to make lands available for oil and gas leasing on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests.

2014 Pro-Cycyle challenge is a professional bike race with 128 entrants. The course varies each year utilizing US Highways, State and County roads as it crosses 4 National Forests this year between August 18 and 26.

Special use authorization is for Bicycle Tour of Colorado (BTC) to make temporary use of NFS lands on 3 National Forests within Colorado for ancillary aid stations with portable toilets, signs, trash facilities and support personnel

Precommercial and commercial thinning, and sanitation of dwarf mistletoe infested lodgepole pine stands to maintain acceptable growth rates and stand health on up to 250 acres. Project is in Taylor Park between Cottonwood Pass Road and Willow Crk.

The proposed action is to maintain existing rock structures and build new small rock structures to address cut banks and erosion occurring within Gunnison Sage-Grouse brood-rearing habitat.

Expansion of the Black Sage Gravel Pit on Black Sage Pass to provide gravel material for road maintenance, construction, and recreation-related projects in the White Pine/Waunita area.

Collect and store tree seeds of various species and seed zones for the purpose of future tree planting that may be needed to respond to ecological or restoration needs.

Maintain existing erosion control structures and build new small rock structures to address erosion occurring in drainages and meadow habitat in the Flat Top Mountain and Black Sage Pass area.

Minimize the spread of bark beetle populations in localized, small scale, high value areas through the use of trap trees.

Reissue 15 existing 10 year permits

The construction of an additional parking lot adjacent to and north of Gunnison County Road #12 at what is known as the Kebler Pass Winter Trailhead. The lot will primarily be used as an area for additional winter vehicle parking.

The Forest Service has proposed the reissuance of exsisting prioirty outiftter/guide permits expiring 5/31/2020. Permit term will be for 10 years (expiring 5/31/2030), unless otherwise specified.

The Gunnison Ranger District is proposing to authorize Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) to enhance two trails within the permitted ski area boundary: Hotdogger Expansion and Lower Avery Re-route.

Clear Networx LLC has applied to construct and operate approximately 401 feet of fiber optic cable on the Norwood Ranger District in the Ilium Valley directly adjacent to the Two Rivers Subdivision.

Address erosion occurring in intermittent or ephemeral drainages and meadow habitats by maintaining existing erosion control structures and building new small rock structures (hand built and using heavy equipment).

CPW would construct a 625-foot access road to the dam%u2019s outlet, repairs/upgrades of the outlet pipe, and installation of a new gate stem and controller along with a reinforced grade beam with instrumentation for monitoring.

Phase 2. Restore historic wetlands, reconnect the floodplain to the stream, build fish habitat, provide wildlife habitat, create fire brakes, and bolster drought resiliency. To achieve the objectives, we will continue building instream structures.

Relocate a short portion of trail off of provate land onto the NF

Relocate NFST #403 off of private lands at Elkton townsite.

Deeply Digital proposes to install on behalf of Clearnetworx approximately 7087 feet of fiber optic line on USFS lands adjacent to HWY 63L, Ames and Ophir Roads pending approval from San Miguel County and CDOT.

Conduct mountain bike shuttles to 3 designated locations (Mesa Top, Shirt Tail Point, Wild Rose) on the Grand Mesa National Forest. Service supports trail opportunities on the Palisade Plunge Trail. Season is trail official opening to September 30.

Proposal for a commercial outfitter and guide priority special use permit to conduct guided OHV tours on the Uncompahgre and Grand Mesa National Forest. Forest System roads will be authorized with 500 service days for daily tours.

Issuance of a ten year outfitter and guide permit to Adventure Cycling Association to authorize multiple cycling tours to operate annually on National Forest System Lands across the Rocky Mountain Region.

A proposal to exchange four parcels of isolated NFS lands totaling approximately 377 acres in the Illinois Creek area of Taylor Park for 160 acres on the Kebler Pass road west of Crested Butte.

The GVRD received 170 applications for easements on existing water facilities. Qualifying facilities receive an easement but additional terms can be added to OM Plan to protect resources. Decision/implementation to occur next several months.

Gunnison RD received 80 applications for easements on existing water facilities. Qualifying facilities receive an easement but additional terms can be added to OM Plan to protect resources. Decision/implementation to occur next several months.

The Paonia RD received 53 ditch bill applications on existing water facilities. 19 easements completed/11 applications denied thus far in the process. Decision/implementation to occur over the next few months.

Norwood RD received 30 applications for easements for existing water facilities. Qualifying facilities receive an easement but additional terms can be added to OM Plan to protect resources. Decision/implementation to occur next several months.

Development of a new Allotment Management Plan

Development of a gravel pit on Alpine Plateau to provide gravel material for road maintenance, construction, timber removal, and recreation-related projects in the Alpine Plateau area.

Installation and maintenance of a new Forest Service/Bureau of Land Management radio repeater on Alpine Plateau

The project involves installing new interpretive signs, stabilizing historic stone structures, stabilizing the stone west portal and entrance to the Alpine Tunnel, and some rerouting sections of trail.

Access to private land near Sargents, CO

Continued use of the existing Anderson Gravel Pit for the purpose of excavating, crushing , stockpiling, and performing reclamation of the pit floor.

Refresh NEPA and Pit Development Plan

Install/construct 50'x6' trail bridge over Ruby-Anthracite Creek on the Paonia Ranger District extending NFST #606 to the west towards Horseranch Park

Issuance of five year recreation event permits to authorize 11 recreation events to operate on the Aspen-Sopris Ranger District. Events have been authorized in prior years under temporary permits. Events are running, mountain bike, jeep, and ski.

Proposal for a temporary special use permit to conduct a competitive trekking, biking, and paddle in the Big Creek area of Uncompahgre National Forest.

Expansion of existing USA #1-16SC well pad, drilling two new wells on the well pad, and construction/installation of approximately 1.37 miles of buried natural gas and water lines along the Buzzard Divide Road (NFSR 265). Ownership change 9/2016.

The primary purpose of this project is to move the landscape toward a more natural state and thus improve wildlife habitat for multiple species by implementing mechanical vegetation, hand thinning and prescribed fire treatments.

Authorize a permit for a wedding ceremony in "Deb's Meadow." On hundred twenty-two guests will sit in the meadow to observe the wedding ceremony.

Proposal is to perform timber stand improvement and prescribed burning to improve range and wildlife habitat and reduce natural fuels.

Daniel and Katherine Readon are requesting to be permitted for Barret Spring Development and pipeline on National Forest System lands. The Readons have an existing State conditional water right for this development.

Continuation of prescribed fire program with emphasis on regenerating aspen apparently killed by S.A.D. Will also benefit fuels and wildlife

This project is part of a Public Lands/Private Lands partnership to reconstruct the old Baxter Gulch trail from near the town of Crested Butte to an intersection with the Carbon Trail #436.

Restore a single travelway for all sections of the Bear Creek Trail while providing for visitor safety and resource sustainability. This includes re-establishing the tread, reducing erosion, and rehabilitating impacted areas.

Construction of a new trail segment on NFS lands in Bear Creek drainage(300 feet in length)in order to facilitate completion of a 6-mile trail loop on neighboring non-NFS lands.

GMUG proposes to use large equipment to remove and crush up to 20,000 tons of up to three foot diameter rock for the production of class 5 gravel within the bounds of the Beaver Park Gravel Pit on the Norwood Ranger District.

Implement more intensive grazing system for livestock and prescribed burn plan to increase openings and forage production for livestock and wildife

Project involves the improvement and/or possible relocation of the Bonham Winter Trailhead to increase parking, improve traffic flow and address safety concerns.

The current, temporary railroad car Boomerang Bridge does not meet engineering standards and is scheduled for replacement. Design completed 2023.

The Grand Mesa-Uncompahgre-Gunnison National Forests (GMUG) is reviewing a proposal from Bowie Resources, L.L.C. (Bowie), to construct and operate a ventilation shaft / emergency escapeway on National Forest System lands.

Replace old Special Use Permit for operating and maintaining the Box Canyon sign with a new permit and operation/maintenance plan.

Continuation of Special Use Permit that utilizes less than 5 contiguous acres for purpose of winter youth camping, shooting , and survival skills event.

Proposed installation of a vault toilet at 'tent city', a large dispersed camping area. Approximately, 0.5 mile up Brush Creek (NFS road 738).

Big Game Habitat Improvement & Fuels Treatment Project.

Funding for NEPA isn't available until further notice.

Approximately 3 miles of new fence will be constructed along the adjoining. BLM, Norwood and Grand Valle Ranger District FS Boundaries, to replace/relocate fences burned in the Bull Draw Fire in 2018. The objective is to improve grazing management.

A 295-acre area will be treated by mechanical means (roller chop, hydro-axe, mower, or similar) and/or prescribed fire to improve forage quality and quantity for elk and other ungulates. Seeding will occur as needed.

Drive vibrating trucks along NFSR 849 and access road to well pad in T.11S R.90W,Section 15. Hand-place above-ground stakes to study Bull Mountain Unit geology under private lands. No ground disturbance expected. Studies to last approximately 20 days

This project proposes to decommission several poorly planned and maintained camp sites, while adding new sites in more desirable areas. Primary objectives are to remove health and safety issues, reduce deferred maintenance, and ADA compliance.

Propose issuance of construction permit to the City of Grand Junction to conduct necessary reconstruction work on the Carson Lake (aka Hogchute Res) Dam and spillway. Engineering drawings and specs are being prepared to meet State requirements.

Installation of a 12ft gate on permit area boundary and administrative route for recreation residence GUN708.

Proposal to improve watershed conditions along an unauthorized route near Cathedral Peak south of Crawford on the Paonia Ranger District. The route is to be recontoured, revegetated, and left as a single track nonmotorized nonsystem trail.

Proposal to groom 37.3 total miles of trail for multiple winter uses. Including 9.4 m. in the Mt. Crested Butte areas of N. Village, Gothic and CBMR; 9.9 m. in the Brush Creek area; and 18 m. in the Cement Creek drainage.

Replacement and minor relocation of an electrical transformer for the Peach Tree Lift at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

1)Tree removal and grading for a concrete pad to seat a cooling system for new compressors at the Snowflake Control building, plus storage space. 2) A 1000 lb. propane tank would be buried near the Paradise Hut.

At the Top of Red Lift, in an area previously analyzed for the Red Lady Lodge, a mountain bike skills park would be constructed for beginner and intermediate mountain bike riders.

Approximately 1.75 miles of new trail construction on 4 segments of trail within the CBMR permit boundary would be constructed by hand and the use of a tracked machine.

A beginner mountain bike trail in the Smith Hill Area, a down hill trail in the Uley's Cabin Area, and an extension of Pyscho Rocks Trail would be constructed with the use of a rubber tracked machine and hand construction.

Reroute approximately 700 feet of trail on the Summit Trail within CBMR's permit boundary, using hand tools. The reroute would avoid a heavily eroded area that creates safety issues for trail users. The reroute would contour the adjacent hillside.

A 20 ft wide winter route would be developed by removing trees to allow for egress from Teocalli 2 Bowl.

At the Top of Painter Boy Lift, a 35 foot diameter yurt would be constructed to house the terrain park staff and ski patrol.

Reroute of Cedar Mesa ATV trail off the dam of Calumet Reservoir to more suitable location.

Construction of a non-motorized trail (~4.8 miles) adjacent to Cement Creek Road NFSR 740. This trail would provide a option for non-motorized users to get off the on a narrow, busy road, reducing safety concerns.

CSAS conducts field monitoring and observations of climatic and physical factors effecting snowpack and snowmelt in the Senator Beck Study Basin in the San Juan Mountains through a User Agreement with the GMUG. Amendment adds facilities.

Installation and management of a new fiber optic cable on the existing GCEA power line adjacent to Jack's Cabin Cutoff Road (CR/NFSR 813).

Placement of a 2" conduit from the NFSR 742 and 765 intersection to the Taylor Park Trading Post. Approximately 900 feet.

CenturyLink is proposing to bury 2.3 miles/12,144 feet of new 2-inch underground fiber optic line within FSR 810 and FSR 810.1A ROWs to connect Comstock Mountain Communication Site to the fiber optic network already existing on the adjacent CR 813.

Amend existing special use permit for City's Domestic Water System in Canyon Creek to remove facilities no longer in existence and to add new facilities

Construct 500,000 gallon water tank, new treatment building raw water supply line and transmission pipeline.

Implementation of 2002 travel management.

As part of a native cutthroat trout restoration project, the Paonia Ranger District and CPW are proposing to construct a permanent fish barrier across the Clear Fork of Muddy Creek.

This project will provide forest management at a landscape scale in the Cochetopa Hills portion of the Gunnison Ranger District to meet various Forest Plan objectives.

Development of a new management plan for grazing of livestock on the Cochetopa, Cold Springs, Los Pinos and Razor Range Land Allotments

Project is to make improvements and repairs on buildings and infrastructure associated with the Cold Springs Ranger Station. Project involves upgrading the water system, installation of a solar system and a variety of maintenance items on cabins.

Issuance of a special use permit for an existing sewer line crossing the Collbran Job Corps Center lands.

Issuance of special use permit to Collbran Valley Gas Gathering, LLC, for approximately 1600 feet of existing natural gas pipeline on the Collbran Job Corp Center

Issue a five year special use permit authorizing the Colorado Army National Guard to conduct winter training activities out of the Mesa Top Trailhead on the Grand Mesa National Forest.

Forest Service proposed to amend the existing communications use lease held by Colorado Public Broadcasting to allow installation of a propane tank and back up generator at the Mesa Point Communications Site.

Decision tiers off Columbine OHV Recreation Area decision and adopts a pit develepment plan.

Proposal to develop an OHV recreation complex, including a campground, day-use area, open riding area or skills park, connections to existing and planned OHV routes, and an interpretive sign associated with a geologic study site.

Relocate approximately 32 miles of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail off of Forest Service roads. Proposed trail location is at or near the actual divide. Up to 3 trail heads will be constructed along the new section of trail.

Issuance of a new special use permit for the enlargement of Coon Creek Reservoir #1 done in 1991. This permit replaces a previous permit that expired in 2012.

SU permit request for a 60'x75' ROW to provide access to reach the W boundary of the Cornerstone Sub. property. Access to be used by Hideout Lake Sub.& 3 adjacent owners. 2 existing routes to be obliterated & reclaimed w/completion of single entrance

This project would remove lodgepole pine trees infected with dwarf mistletoe and regenerate a stand of uninfected trees.

Authorize the Federal Highways Administration-Central Federal Lands Highway Division to conduct geotechnical investigation of a material borrow source along Cottonwood Pass Road, and along the existing roadway prizm.

This project will address a severe spruce beetle infestation adjacnt to County Line Ski path, by utilizing and sanitation and salvage operation.

The proposed action is to treat approximately 15,000 acres with prescribed fire to maintain and enhance productive vegetation for the benefit of Mule Deer, Elk and other wildlife species, while reducing the natural buildup of fuels.

The record of decision for the Uncompahgre Travel Management Plan restricts all motorized travel to designated routes. Many of the routes were specifically nominated for decommissioning. This DM describes the type of decommissioning that will occur

Re-route of the proposed Crane Lake trail alignment.

This project is intended to provide year-round telephone service to a private residence with two authorizations: (1) dig a trench and bury a utility (telephone) line underground; and (2) authorize on-going use of an underground utility line.

National Forest has proposed to authorize a permittee to take corrective actions to repair their exposed municipal waterlines and reset their ditch (agricultural) head gate.

The designation of dispersed camp sites and requirement for visitor to camp in these sites around the Crested Butte area. Designation of the dispersed camping sites would be established using wooden posts, signs, and fire rings.

CBMR has formally requested site-specific review and analysis under NEPA procedures for elements of the Master Development Plan that was accepted by the Forest Service in 2013. See item 23 for more information.

Pre-NEPA and NEPA for Snodgrass Mountain Expansion Master Developement Plan activities

Construction of 4 mountain bike trails within the Crested Butte Mountain Resort permit area for a total of approximately 2.5 miles of new trail construction.

The GMUG NF is proposing to put up the Crested Butte Administrative Site for competitive sale in 2014. The .359 acre property was purchased by warranty deed in 1937. The 125 x 125 foot property consists of five lots within the Town of Crested Butte.

Rebuild embankments that exhibit significant leakage. Repair or replace non-functioning outlet works and spillway. Install toe drains. Install riprap on the dam. Clear woody vegetation growing on the dam.

This project will replace 2 undersized culverts with a 36 foot wide Aquatic Organism Passage open bottom arch culvert including 200 feet of bank stabilization upstream of culvert and energy diffusing structure downstream of culvert.

Authorization for operations and maintenance of the existing Cunningham Ditch. Additionally, reconstruction of the beginning of the ditch would occur to allow for continuous flow and more efficient operations.

Private road access, across existing two-track road, to residence. Two-track road crosses a small parcel of Forest Service land located entirely within Hoffelder%u2019s privately owned land.

Rehabilitate and reconstruct the Deer Lakes Campground and Day Use Area through funding from the Great American Outdoors Act.

Install fiber optic line in the shoulder of the east side of NFSR 871.2A (aka as Jackass Flats Road).

The Norwood Ranger District proposes to allow dispersed camping in designated sites in the Mary E Recreation Site, located 5 Miles west of Telluride, CO. Additionally, campsites would be designated in the Priest Lake recreation Site.

Ouray Ranger District proposes to physically close or upgrade six abandoned, inactive mine features such as open adits and shafts along the Engineer Pass Road.

Winter travel in the Crested Butte area with the "Gang of 9".

Tranfer ditch easement for Pug White Ditch, Everlasting Ditch, Hawkins Ditch and Twin Lakes Reservoir to KNK Land & Cattle LLC.

Removal of dead and dying Engelmann Spruce trees killed by Spruce beetle to promote safety and reduce long-term fuel build up in areas severely impacted by spruce beetle to limit the likelihood of a catastrophic wildfire.

Multi faceted project including Cold Spgs. Ranger Station, facilities work, 22 miles trail work.

Construct 1/2 mile of fence to improve management of riparian vegetation in Upper Dominguez Creek.

Up to 1000 acres of mechanical treatment in big game winter range is proposed in the pinyon-juniper habitats, to increase forage for big game.

The previous landowners, West Dallas Ranches Inc., had applied for and received approval for a DBE for the Switzerland Ditch. Unfortunately, the DBE was never officially executed. Have been operating as if it had been in place since 1989.

Right-Of-Way Application - Existing and New Road

The Paonia Ranger District is proposing to continue to authorize domestic livestock grazing on the Dry Fork allotment. Should the decision be to continue grazing on the Dry fork Allotment, an Allotment Management Plan (AMP) will be drafted.

Issue a special use road permit to a road users association for use of closed NFSR 536.2A to access private land.

Salvage of trees blown down as a result of wind storm on the Grand Mesa near Eggleston Lake.

A temporary construction permit to reconstruct/pipe the Elk Home ditch. Total ditch length for this project will be approximately 4,180 feet with a right of way of 40 feet and an one acre staging area below the high water line within Rainbow Lake.

This project is restoring the native vegetation where an old saw mill once worked. The area has not completely revegetated and will not without action. Part of the action will be to implement existing travel management decisions to this area.

The proposed project includes construction of new 1.23 mile non-motorized single track on the Grand Mesa national Forest. This trail will connect the Flowing Park trail with the Drop Off trail, creating a loop ride for mountain bikes.

Flowing Park trailhead would be a creation of a 15 car parking area with a map/information kiosk and attendant fencing disturbing less than 1/2 acre. Leonard's Ridge Trail re-route would involve realignment of 0.9 miles of existing trail.

Authorize access to private inholdings on the Uncompahgre National Forest. Strole-existing Trail # 149 provides historic access to private land on the Uncompahgre Plateau.

GCEA has proposed to convert approximately 1,300 feet of aerial powerline across private land to 1,154 feet of new underground distribution power line within ROW of NFSR 740 to serve power to private property.

Construct an electric vehicle charging station in the parking lot for the Taylor Park Marina which is located adjacent to County Road 742. The charging station consists of: one charging post; transformer; and buried powerline connection.

This project proposes to burn approximately 500-2000 acres per burn block per year of oakbrush and mixed mountain shrub vegetation in important elk and deer habitat.

The goal of this proposal is to improve Gunnison Sage-grouse habitat on Forest Service lands that are designated as unoccupied critical habitat on the North Uncompahgre plateau over the next 10 years by proactive habitat improvements.

Approximately 10 miles of new fence will be constructed in numerous locations on the Uncompahgre National Forest, to replace/improve locations of fences burned in the Bull Draw Fire in 2018. The objective is to improve grazing management.

THIS PROJECT IS GENERALLY DESIGNED TO QUICKLY REACT TO FOREST HEALTH ISSUES SUCH AS INSECT AND DISEASE OUTBREAKS, AND INSTANCES OF WIND THROWN TIMBER.

Analyzes 15 allotments on the Norwood and Ouray Ranger Districts

Exchange approximatley 726 acres of private land for 794 acres of National Forest System land.

This project considers the issuance of a special use authorization to Ouray County to conduct emergency stabilization of the Idarado Houses.

The Gunnison Ranger District seeks to rehabilitate and reconstruct the Lake Irwin recreation area through funding from the Forest Service Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Currently this is not a top priority on the CIP schedule.

Construct approximately 1 1/4 miles of fencing to exclude cattle from entering the campground to protect campers and physical resources. Fencing will include a 20 foot wide clearence.

The intent of the project is to proactively and adaptively respond to declining forest vegetation conditions due to insect and disease. Includes treatments of Engelmann spruce and lodgepole pine forests in the Monarch Pass and Marshall Pass areas.

Based on additional analysis of emissions and climate change effects, the BLM will decide whether to approve, approve with modifications, or disapprove APDs. The Forest Service will issue a separate decision regarding SUPOs on NFS lands.

Oxbow Mining LLC (Oxbow) has applied to modify existing federal coal lease COC-70615 by adding approx. 364 acres of federal coal reserves. Coal in the existing lease is mined by Oxbow from their Elk Creek Mine near Somerset in Gunnison County.

The USFS is proposing to authorize Oxbow to construct 3 drill pads, drilling and operating 7 methane drainage wells, and constructing approximately 5,450 feet of new temporary road in T. 12 S., R. 91 W., Section 36; of Delta County, CO

Re-entry into previously reclaimed access road. Will be used to access methane drainage well on private land. Approx.2800 feet in length

Conduct mountain bike shuttles to 3 designated locations (Mesa Top, Shirt Tail Point, Wild Rose)on the Grand Mesa National Forest. Supports trail opportunities on the Palisade Plunge Trail. Season is trail official opening to September 30.

The Bureau of Reclamation is analyzing the effects of piping approximately 1.55 miles of the Pilot Rock Ditch in Delta County, Colorado. Forest will consider what easement adjustments are necessary for portion of Pilot Rock Ditch on NFS lands.

Pine Mountain Fence: Proposes to authorize construction of 1.0 miles of range fence for livestock management purposes on the Uncompahgre National Forest.

Ditch draining fen will be treated with small hand placed structures to re-establish the water table level and native plant composition. Stream will be returned to it's original path.

Pitkin Trail Advocates have submitted a proposal to revisit 2010 Gunnison Basin Federal Lands Travel Management decision regarding specific routes near Pitkin, Colorado.

Re-route of 0.3 miles of trail due to steep unsustainable section. A new route will be constructed approximately 0.5 miles with sustainable grades and with adequate drainage the old route will be decommissioned.

Powderhorn Mountain Resort has proposed a 15 mile mountain bike trail system to be constructed within their permit area located on the Grand Mesa National Forest. Construction would occur in 3 phases with phase 1 involving approx. 5 miles of trail.

It's proposed to extend Willow Trail(NFST 633), to create a bypass around the Taylor Park Trading Post property. The purpose of this addition is to improve public safety in the congested area by giving OHV traffic an alternate route.

The project would entail excavating a 4 to 5 foot wide trench at a depth of 4 feet for installation of two 8 inch air and water pipes on the south side of Telluride Ski Area Upper Village Bypass ski trail.

Proposal by Telluride Snowmobile Adventures, an existing Forest Service Outfitter-Guide, to move his snowmobile base camp to a location on NFS lands immediately north of the FSR 632/Hwy 145 intersection.

Telluride Mountain Club (TMC) and TSG Ski & Golf, LLC (TSG) proposed to construct four new mountain bike trails in Telluride, Colorado to provide new single-track trail opportunities.

The USFS is considering incorporating the existing via ferrata in Telluride under the agency's trail management.

Closure of 11 abandoned mine features in the Virginia Basin and Emerald Lake areas.

Closure of 14 shafts and 6 adits using a combination of backfilling, bulkhead seals, polyurethatne plugs and/or installation of grates.

Geophysical coal exploration for Bowie Resources LLC

Mt Hatten Project is a radio repeater installation project, the system operates in the VHF band, power output is rated at 8 watts and is supplied by two solar panels and storage batteries. Ground disturbance will be the placement of 4 concrete pads.

Proposal for a special use authorization on the Grand Mesa and Uncompahgre national Forest to conduct a commercial outfitter and guide service. Activities proposed include weekday youth ski tours, backpack trips, and equipment rentals.

Transfer a private road easement to Rockbiter Corp and amend the easement for a change in bridge alignment over Canyon Creek. Beginning a possible Small Tracts Act exchange on land the road is located.

Rockbiter Corporation has made an application to exchange lands with the United States Forest Service under the authority of the Small Tracts Act. The exchange contains approximately 25 acres of National Forest for 125 acres of private lands.

The Town of Telluride is requesting the NFS to reissue a Special Use Permit for the operation and maintenance of a water storage and treatment facilities, water and sewer lines, and an access road.

Installing structures that mimic beaver dams, which would move water into a river%u2019s floodplain through overbank flows and enhance the depth, extent, and duration of inundation on the landscape on Trail Creek, near Taylor Park.

Conduct 2D and 3D seismic surveys to map subsurface geology in the Trail Gulch Oil and Gas Unit to inform possible future development proposals of existing leases.

This is a reentry of the Glencoe, Copper King, and Hanks Valley prescribed burns. This project is an understory, maintenance burn in ponderosa pine.

Thin approximately 2,705 acres of scattered ponderosa pine plantations on the Uncompahgre Plateau with the goals of reducing fuels and providing silviculture and wildlife benefits.

The US Forest Service is preparing an environmental analysis for cave and abandoned mine management options for the bat disease commonly known as white-nose syndrome (WNS).

Replace structurally deficient Willow Creek Bridge #1 on NFSR 765 approximately 1.85 miles east of NFSR 742 and Willow Creek Bridge #2 (approximately 3.25 miles east of FS Road 742)at the existing bridge locations and move utilities from bridges.

The bridge will provide a safe crossing of Willow Creek for trail users and replace an existing low water stream ford. The project will mitigate stream bank degradation, eliminate stream siltation and improve and protect the riparian area.

Non-federal Parties propose to convey five separate parcels of non-federal land containing a total of approximately 681 acres to the United States in exchange for four federal properties containing a total of approximately 303 acres of equal value.

The Forest Service is proposing to issues XCEL Energy/Public Service Company (PSCo) a Temporary Construction Permit to repair six locations along the gas line on Marshall Pass, which have shown signs of "metal loss".
