Abel Riparian Drift Fence
The USFS is proposing to authorize construction of a short drift fence (approximately 1.0 miles) along the southern edge of the Abel Creek drainage.

Leviathan Land Exchange
The Leviathan LEX would exchange NFS lands that are either part of or adjacent to a Superfund site. Land uses related to those lands will remain the same with a focus on remediation of the site. Lands acquired are native forest.

Lodestar Mineral Exploration Project
The project proposes a locatable mineral exploration drilling program consisting of approximately 43 constructed drill pads and 0.9 miles of constructed new temporary road. Disturbance is estimated at approximately 12 acres.

Rebel Creek Drift Fence
Implementation of new fence to facilitate better recreational opportunity on the Summit Trail and livestock management within the Rebel Creek Allotment.

Upper Kyle Canyon Trails System
Improve the Upper Kyle Canyon Trail System by reconstructing the Mary Jane Falls Trail and parking complex to include surveying authorized and unauthorized trails to determine areas of the Mary Jane Falls trail to reconstruct, re-route, or restore.

Amendments to Land Management Plans Regarding Sage-grouse Conservation
The Forest Service is considering amending its land management plans to address new and evolving issues arising since implementing sage-grouse plans in 2015. This project is in cooperation with the USDI Bureau of Land Management.

Deer Mountain Timber Stand Improvement and Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project
Timber restoration and hazardous fuels reduction near Jarbidge, NV. Proposed treatments include mechanical, prescribed fire, biomass utilization of firewood through the local community, prescriptive grazing and fuel breaks.

East Humboldt and Ruby Mountains Fuels Reduction and Landscape Resilience Project
The Forest Service plans to use mechanical equipment, hand thinning, prescribed fire, prescriptive and targeted grazing to implement up to approximately 20,000 acres per year across the approximate 245,500-acre project area.

Forest-wide Prescribed Fire Project
We propose to apply prescribed fire on up to 100,000 acres of national forest system lands per year to improve native vegetation and wildlife habitats and to reduce risk of uncharacteristic wildfire.

Invasive Plant Control Projects Using Aerial Application of Herbicide
Current ground-based treatment options are limited by reach (hose length), access, topography, and cost. The Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest proposes to expand current integrated pest management to include Aerial Applicaiton of Herbicide.

Monitor-Toquima Range Vacant Allotment Project
The proposed action is to authorize cattle grazing within the McKinney, Meadow Canyon, Monitor Valley East, Monitor Valley West, Silver Creek, and Table Mountain allotments in a manner that will not hinder attainment of LRMP desired condition
