The 803 Motorized Trail system provides ATV access to both dedicated ATV trails and open roads in the Steamboat Creek area.

Getting There

Directions

Primary access is the Steamboat Creek Road (#400). From CDA head east on I-90 and take the Kingston exit and head north up the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River on Shoshone County Road #1C. At Steamboat Creek follow forest road #400 up Steamboat Creek to the junction of forest roads #400 and #409. This is approximately 5 to 6 miles up road #400. At this road junction is a parking area and information sign with a detailed maps of the ATV routes in the area including ATV Trail 803. Please remember to take along both our Visitor Map and the Motor Vehicle Use Map that displays the routes open to motorized use.
