#898 20 Odd Peak Trailhead

20 Odd Peak Trail #898 climbs to 20 Odd Peak (6048’) and ends at an old lookout platform.  There are stunning views of the Clark Fork River valley from the trail and peak.  Canyon Peak Trail #903 and Roe Gulch Trail #894 depart from 20 Odd peak offering loop hiking opportunities. There are no stream crossings.

Motorized vehicles:  Motorcycle use is allowed on 20 Odd Peak Trail #898.  Be advised motorized use is not allowed on Canyon Peak Trail #903 or Roe Gulch Trail #894.

Current Conditions
20 Odd Peak Trail #898 is a Trail Class 3 trail. The trail tread and corridor will be very well defined and visible. The trail is scheduled to be cleared every year. Please contact the Cabinet Ranger Station for current trail conditions.

  • Motorized vehicles:  Motorcycle use is allowed on 20 Odd Peak Trail #898.  Be advised motorized use is not allowed on Canyon Peak Trail #903 or Roe Gulch Trail #894.
  • Properly possess and store all food, refuse, and other attractants pursuant to Kootenai National Forest Food Storage Order (CFR 261.58 (cc)).
  • Please practice Pack-in-Pack-out and Leave-No-Trace ethics.
