Trout Creek Campground

This forested campground is cool and shady. Sites are spacious with lots of screening. Roads are graveled. Several sites are creekside. Rustic, woodsy, forest camping. Suited for pick-up campers, tent camping, and small travel trailers.

Reservations

The campground is first-come, first-served. Scan and Pay is available for all sites. The QR code is posted at the campground fee station. You must have the most recent recreation.gov mobile app. 
Cost is $15.00 per site with a $1.50 service fee. The mobile app will only allow you to pay for 1 night at a time.

General Information

A picnic table and fire ring is available at each campsite. Camp hosts, garbage services are available when campground is open. Gas and groceries within 7 miles.

Open May 7, 2026 - September 29, 2026. 

Arrival is no earlier than 2:00pm. Departure is no later than 11:00am. 

Please visit the Forest's Alerts page for information on restrictions, in particular please review the Food/Wildlife Attractant Storage Order to help reduce the likelihood of human-to-bear conflicts. 

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $15 per night (2 vehicles included per site)
Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per night

Must be physically restrained on a 6 foot leash.

Directions

From Interstate 90 (I-90) near the town of Superior, take exit #47. Head to the south side of the interstate. If you were headed west on I-90, you will turn left (west) at the first intersection, then turn left (south) at the next intersection and drive under the interstate highway. If you were headed east on I-90, you will turn right (south). When you reach the T-intersection, turn left (east) on Diamond Road which is paved. Travel about 5 miles until the pavement ends and continue on Trout Creek Road #250 which is improved gravel for 2 miles. Campground is on the left.

Parking

No camping is allowed in the parking lot and large RVs/trailers are not recommended.
