Forest Order

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited on the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grassland within the area, and on the National Forest System Roads and Trails described below and as shown on the attached maps (shown as Exhibits A and B) until further notice. A. Using a motorized vehicle on a National Forest System Road inside the management area boundaries of the Loveland Ski Area or the Berthoud Pass Area, except in designated parking areas, and highway right-of-ways for Interstate 70, US 6 and US 40. 36 CFR 261.54(a). B. Using a motorized vehicle on a National Forest System Trails of the Loveland Ski Area or the Berthoud Pass Area, except in designated parking areas. 36 CFR 261.55(b). C. Using or possessing a motorized vehicle off a National Forest System Road inside the management area boundaries of the Loveland Ski Area or the Berthoud Pass Area, except in designated parking areas and highway right-of-ways for Interstate 70, US 6 and US 40. 36 CFR 261.56 Pursuant to 36 CFR, Section 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from the order: 1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.
