Dry Lake Campground

Dry Lake Campground is located 8 miles northeast of Steamboat Springs, Colorado on Buffalo Pass Road and is close to Strawberry Park Hot Springs. This small campground is surrounded by Aspen, Spruce and Fir trees and is accessible to Spring Creek Trail for hiking and biking. Dry lake is only 8 inches deep and dries up in early summer, so there isn't any fishing.

There are 8 campsites and camping is limited to 14 days, in a 30 day period. Each site has a fire grate and picnic table and there are vault toilets and trash services in the campground. There is no potable water in the campground, so campers need to bring their own water. Trailer spaces are available with a maximum length of 20 feet. Open season is mid-June to mid-October.
