Picnicking

There are many developed day use picnic areas available for use across the forests and grassland. They provide serene and peaceful opportunities to enjoy lunch, host a get together, or simply rest. Some require reservations or fees, but many do not. Overnight camping is not allowed in picnic areas unless otherwise noted, though many are very close to camping areas.
