Forest Order

Pursuant to Title 36, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 261.50(b), the following acts are PROHIBITED on forest development roads and motorized trails on the South Park Ranger District within the Pike National Forest until further notice. These prohibitions are in addition to those enumerated in 36 CFR 261, Subpart A and are to protect forest resources, minimize user conflicts and promote user safety. 

THIS ORDER PROHIBITS:

  1. The use of all motorized vehicles that do not display a current and valid State license plate authorizing their use on public roads. 36 CFR 261.54(b)
