Mount Bierstadt Trail #711
The Mount Bierstadt Trail #711 is located in the Mount Evans Wilderness.
From the designated parking areas, hike east approximately 1 mile on the trail and boardwalk over the willow wetlands towards Scott Gomer Creek. After crossing the creek, the trail continues uphill to the east, then south, to reach the west ridge of the peak. Nearing the summit, the trail grows steeper on the rocky ridge. Step on rocks while ascending to the summit to avoid trampling vegetation that grows in pockets between the rocks.
Please stay on the trail to avoid damaging sensitive alpine plants and soils.
