Creede Office to Open for the Summer

DEL NORTE, Colo., May. 16, 2025 – The Divide Ranger District announced today that the Creede office will open to visitors on May 23. The office will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in May. Beginning on June 4, the office opening days will increase to Wednesday through Saturday each week with the same opening hours.

The hours at the other Rio Grande National Forest offices will also be 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“I look forward to another summer of engagement with the community with the seasonal opening of the Creede office again this year,” said Divide District Ranger Patrick Moran. “We’ve always appreciated the wonderful connections our increased presence in the community provides us.”

Since the offices may have intermittently limited services such as with passes and permits, we encourage visitors to call the office prior to your trip to ensure the services you need will be available.
