Water Activities

Many of the lakes within the San Juan National Forest are only open to non-motorized water devices like paddleboards, row boats, and kayaks. A few select lakes like McPhee Reservoir and Vallecito Lake are open to motorized boats. Course, you can swim in all but keep in mind that all water is COLD.
