10k Trailhead and 10K Trail 200
10K North and 10K South Trailheads “meet” on Scenic Byway 536, on opposite sides of the highway.
--10K Trailhead gives access to 10K Trail 200 going North, and ends at the Del Agua Overlook on North Crest Trail 130.
--10K South Trailhead ends at the junction of Tree Spring Trail 147 and South Crest Trail 130. When hiking across a ski run area, look for a blue diamond marker on the opposite side to help keep you on track as you cross over.
The elevation gain is about 600 feet from beginning to end.Please refer to Sandia Mountain Trails and Sandia Crest Trails and Trailheads maps to plan your course.

Mountain bikes are not allowed on the portion from Ellis Trail 202 to Del Agua Overlook because they cross into the Wilderness.

Directions
From I-40 and Exit 175, drive toward Cedar Crest on N-14. Follow N-14 aka the Turquoise Trail, for approximately 6.5 miles, to NM 536 aka the Sandia Crest Scenic Byway. Turn left onto NM 536 and follow it for about 11.3 miles. 10K North is on the right side and 10K South is on the left side.
