Arizona Scenic Trail - Passage 06: Las Colinas

The first 13 passages of the Arizona National Scenic Trail pass through the Coronado National Forest.

  • Oak Tree Canyon to Lakes Road – 13.1 miles

Rolling up and down through cactus, ocotillo, and grasslands, this portion of the trail is the last section in the Coronado National Forest for a couple of days. After 10.4 miles, recreators will leave federal land and enter state trust land. Say goodbye to the Santa Rita Mountains as you look across the expanse to the Rincon Mountains in the distance.

Water is very scarce in this section; fill up whenever you can.
