Airstrip Mesa Trail #35
The 4.2-mile Airstrip Mesa Trail #35 connects from Forest Road 210 up and over a ridge to the west and across Forest Road 4025P. From here, the trail descends into Trout Creek, crosses the creek, and ends at the east end of Forest Road 4020Z. Continuing west on the forest road leads to Forest Road 19.

Limited roadside parking along the Frisco Box Road.
Directions
From Reserve, head west on New Mexico Highway 12 and proceed 7 miles to US Highway 180 and turn west (right). Proceed 13 miles to Luna and turn right onto Reynolds Ave, continuing straight ahead on Forest Road 19. Proceed 3.8 miles and turn east (right) onto Frisco Box Road. Proceed 2.6 miles to the trailhead.
