Cinder pit permits available May 1 on Williams RD
The season for cinder pits begins May 1, 2026.
Starting April 1, 2026 at 8:00am, the public may visit or call the Williams Ranger Station at (928) 635-5600 to sign up for the waitlist.Permits can be purchased beginning May 1, 2026, at the Williams Ranger District office:
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday-Wednesday & Friday
- 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Thursdays
Personal-use permits are $1.00 per cubic yard (CY) up to 50 CY per person with a 20 CY minimum. Cinder permits will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
