Order# 03-08-01-26-002: Area and Trails Closure
The purpose of this Order is to protect public health and safety. These areas are subject
to continued flooding effects through monsoon season and conditions have become
hazardous. Repair and maintenance will be identified and prioritized, to complete the work
needed to protect public health and safety.Closure area includes :
Trailheads/Access Points
Cedar Creek trailhead, Fitness Trail trailhead, Perk Canyon trailhead, and Cedar
Creek West trailhead (end of Cedar Creek).
Developed Recreation Sites
Cedar Creek Day Use and Sam Tobias Group Sites.
Trails
Trail 13 North Cedar Creek, Trail 90 Fitness Trail, Trail 92 Perk Canyon, Trail 93
Perk Ridge, Trail 93A Ranger, Trail 120A Lower Cedar Creek, and Trail 120C
Beginner Loop.

PROHIBITIONS
Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551 and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50 (a) and (b) the following is prohibited
on the National Forest System (NFS) lands in the Smokey Bear Ranger District, Lincoln
National Forest, described below and shown on the attached map incorporated into this
Order as Exhibit A (Area/Trails):
- Entering or being in an area. 36 C.F.R. § 261.52 (e).
- Being on a trail. 36 C.F.R. § 261.55 (a).
