Pines Campground

Pines Campground lies just NE of Cloudcroft and has 24 sites. Out of these 24 sites, 21 are single units, 2 are double units and 1 is a triple unit site.  Douglas and white fir forest offers escape from desert heat to tent campers and large groups, good access to trails for hiking. Available at the site are tables, fire rings, parking spurs, gray water sumps, toilets, central garbage depository are all available here. Tents are allowed and RV's are limited to a maximum length of 35 feet.

There are connections to local area trails at the site, one of which takes you to the very popular Osha Trail (T10) named for the Osha plant found along its paths.  Here there are stunning views of the Mexican Canyon Trestle and Tularosa Basin below.

First come, first serve. No reservations. Cost: $32-$50. 40' RV limit.

Discounts for National Parks Lifetime Senior and Access passes honored.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $32 per night (up to 8 people)
Double Site: $39 per night (up to 16 people)
Triple Site: $49 per night (up to 24 people)
Quadruple Site: $57 per night (up to 32 people)
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night

Showers: (available at Silver Overflow CG): $7.00 per person per use
RV Dump Station: (available at Silver Overflow CG): $15.00 per use
Water: Free if camping or $0.30 per gallon after 1st free 5 gallons
Trash: Free if camping or $3 per bag per day
Firewood: (if available): $9 per bag/bundle

1 Quadruple Large Family Site: $57 per night.

Travel east on US82 from Cloudcroft, turn left onto NM244. Less than 1 mile later on your left you will find the entrance to Pines Campground (across the street from the Fir Campgrounds).
